I read Logos resources every day and at all times throughout the day. When I read something that uses another resource I own in my library I like to go read the original author's context. Many times when links are in a resource that I own to a resource that I own I click it and it says I do not have a license for it. When indeed I do. Here is an example.
Last night I was reading Piper's Brothers, We Are Not Professionals: A Plea to Pastors for Radical Ministry. He quotes Bunyan's Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners. When I click the link in Piper's resource I would expect Bunyan to open. I don't even expect to open to the right page. I can always search the phrase I want to look up and find it. Anyhow, you can see what I mean.. I click the link and it says I don't have a license. So, I visit Logos and the option is orange to buy the resource when I think I already have the resource. The Logos website is outside my control. I would like my library that I do own the resources to recognize what I should be able to control. Here is the screen shots.

Reading Piper who quotes Bunyan. I click the link for Bunyans resource and I get this.

So, I click the link to visit Logos and here is what I see.

Now, I recognize there is probably I few resources in my library that I do not realize I own. Bunyan is not one of them. So, I look up the Works of John Bunyan.

As you can see the Platinum and Portfolio packages have these resource and I own platinum. Grace Abounding to the Chief Sinners is in this collection. But look at the orange button for me to buy.. no harm.. I can't control what happens on the Logos website. What I would like control of is my library. This entire sequence of events really is not that big a deal. But it has happened to me before and now I thought I should tell someone. When all was said and done I loaded my library, found the resource, and opened it myself.
