Bug: Switching a Note back from Floating Window to "Main" Logos Window

I opened a note file in a floating window for editing. After editing I dragged the note back to its previous location in my layout, but the window for the note file remained open, even though the note file was properly moved to my "main" Logos window. I also am not able to close the floating window.

After closing and relaunching logos, this causes a crash every time I try to start logos. I was able to stop the crash by quickly closing the window that reopens. See attached logs.

I also just realized that there is a new beta. This behavior and crash was produced with beta 8. I will let you know if I can invoke this in the new beta 9.

With beta 9 I am unable to get Logos to relaunch without crashing. See logs.

Is there a way that I can do that before opening Logos? Right now I cannot do anything with Logos.

Couple of FYI's:

1. The initial problem (with the opening a floating window and then moving it back and leaving a window behind) does not seem to occur in beta 9.

2. After opening to a blank layout I was able to reopen (without a crash) the last available layout under "recent layouts."

An error that appears in your Console Messages.log indicates a possible bad installation. Since you can open to a blank layout, though, perhaps all you need to do is recreate the original layout (if home page is disabled at startup).

If you continue to experience crashes, I recommend moving the Logos 4 app to the Trash, leaving your Logos 4 folder in your User folder for the time being, and reinstalling 4.3 Beta 9 from this script: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstallerBeta/Logos4Mac.dmg. If the problems continue, however, you may need to remove both the app and the Logos 4 folder as well, but I recommend reviewing the reinstallation options on the public wiki before doing so.
