Hi folks.
There will be some SBLGNT-related resource updates going out this week, so if your Logos 4 detects a resource update, this is probably it. Resources will be released for LDLS3 too; they should be retrievable by the normal LDLS3 means. [EDIT/Clarification: Cascadia will not be released for LDLS3]
A few weeks back, the Evangelical Textual Criticism (ETC) blog ran a short review/examination of the SBLGNT, at the end of the review was a list of errata in text and apparatus. The corrections all involve either punctuation or accent changes. The SBLGNT Editor, Michael W. Holmes, reviewed the list and provide a list of changes.
Those changes (39 of them) have been integrated, and all of the SBLGNT-related resources have been rebuilt. These include:
- SBLGNT and Apparatus
- Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament: SBL Edition
- Cascadia Syntax Graphs of the New Testament: SBL Edition (graph resource and syntax database, Logos 4 only)
- Lexham English Bible (NT reverse interlinear, which is SBLGNT-based)
- Lexham Analytical Lexicon to the Greek New Testament
We will be updating the file downloads on the SBLGNT.com site sometime in the near-term future. We will also update the corrections listing at that time.
Subsequent to the review, Michael Holmes also posted on the ETC blog with some comparisons/counts of SBLGNT and NA27, linking to further information on his personal web site.
