Odd behavior and good tip for the Home Page

Today I turned everything off to display on my Home Page except Devotionals and Excerpts. No matter what I did, it would only show me 1/2 page of content on the Home Page.

So after seeing how it works offline on an airplane, I re-ran it Offline.  Hit F5, you get a Home Page full of just Excerpts and Devotionals!   Exit, restart, and that same Home Page will still load the rest of the day.

Why won't it give me a full home page when I only have Devotionals and Excerpts checked under Customize? Shouldn't have to do this trick...

    Thank you Dominick! My Excerpts feature hasn't been working for several months. This trick brought it back.
