E4 Group software for Libronix

I have a disk with Charles Spurgeon Library Vol 1 for June 6 2002 Libronix software. I am attempting to re-install into the Libronix program and it is listed but shows it locked. Says must be unlocked from a disk, which I am loading it from. Is it the age of the software that is causing the problem?

It's possible that there was a code on the disk that opened the files for you that you have since lost. In that case, I'm not sure what to suggest, since E4 no longer publishes with Logos (their quality control was less than stellar).

If you have previously installed this disk, you may have a license for it somewhere. If you synced your licenses in Libronix with Logos, you could try syncing them on your new computer. Do that through Tools>Account control. As far as I know, the only other option would be to find a copy of your previous license.

Call customer services and explain the situation. I had a similar issue with the Oxford Bible Commentary, from 2001. They asked me to email them a scanned picture of the CD as proof of purchase. They then enabled the licence, and the resource downloaded to Logos 4.

Your best bet might be to contact the E4 Group. They no longer produce and sell Logos compatible products but might be able to give you an unlock code. Logos never directly handled these products so might not be able to help you. customerservice@e4.net

There is no reason for Logos not to have those books, or files. They were distributed under a perfectly valid license and other publishers works from that era import in fine. Logos customer service would have to handle this.
