I put the install cd into my computer 3 and a half hours ago and followed the promptings.  I have not seen any changes and am unsure whether my software is "indexing" or not.  How can I tell if it is indexing and will it prompt me when the indexing is complete?

Whenever the program is downloading updates or resources, preparing your library, or indexing you should see a little blue and white Logos logo in the menu bar toward the right near the grouping of icons by the computer clock.  Hovering over that icon will give you a status message as to what the program is doing.

If you are still having problems

Ditch the CD - Go to http://www.logos.com/4ways select option 4 and download the version you want directly.

Sign in to your account and let the downloader do the rest.

The version on the web site may be more recent than the one on the CD - who knows how long that has been on the shelves?
