if i download just the minimal crossgrade, will it allow me to use my existing books?

Hi Quentin, welcome to the Forum!

i believe so. You will need to make sure to open your Libronix (Logos 3) and sync your license . Then at some point Logos 4 will update add your books to your library. There is a wiki page somewhere that also tells how to scan books in your Libronix resource folder to manually add them to Logos 4.

i will look for the wiki page and edit this post when i find them.

After you have sync'd your Logos 3 license, you can use the Logos 4 command (Logos 4 Commands) Update Resources to have Logos 4 (L4) check your library contents against what you own. This may take some time to perform.

Also since you are new, please see the Logos 4 wiki Table of Contents for info on L4. Anytime that you have questions, please add a post to the forum and other users will help you.

Yes! Logos is committed to letting you keep all your purchases throughout the upgrade process.

You will not be able to open PBB books though (if you have any).

EDIT: BTW, you can still use Libronix in parallel with Logos 4 (the upgrade/crossgrade does not uninstall the previous version), and use it for any PBB's you still need. Also notice what's still missing in Logos4.
