Does anyone know of a way to enlarge the text? If I open a book in a floating window, I would like to magnify the text so that I can read it without leaning in to the computer.
Hi Jesse - and welcome to the forums.
There is, as I understand it, an issue with OS X which stops this working.
For more details on this please see http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_and_PC_User_Interface_Differences#Program_Scaling
There was a recent discussion at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34042.aspx which gives the most recent update
Hope this helps
Graham
Small increases can be made by using the system zoom - hold ctrl and two fingers up the track pad or move the mouse wheel slightly. Big increases render the text too blurry.
There are currently four ways to enlarge the text in a resource from within Logos. The first two affects all resources + Library, the latter two affects only that resource.
1) Go to Logos>Preferences or Tools>Program Settings and change the Default Text Size.
2) Start typing set default text size to in the command box at the top, and choose the size you want from the dropdown. (If you want to go back and forth between sizes often you can drag these commands from the dropdown to the shortcut bar to the right of the command box.)
3) Click on the book cover icon and move the size control there to where you want it.
4) Use Cmd-+/Cmd--.
In Biblical People/Places/Things you can use the scroll wheel to zoom.
There is currently no way (except for the system zoom) to enlarge the text in Collections, Guides, Search, Passage Lists and other things like that. It seems Apple has some built in issue that prevents them from using the same solution they used on PC, so we have to wait for them to find a work around. [:'(]
