my drop-down menus & popup boxes are transparent

I've installed L4 on my XP notebook. It works fine & I like it so far. HOWEVER, all of my drop-down menus & popup boxes are transparent, making their usage difficult as the menu/box items are harder to make out. I've looked through the discussions & can't find that this has been discussed so far (unless I've missed it). Any ideas? (I'm almost done installing L4 on my Vista desktop & the menus/boxes on it seem to work fine.)

Hmm, it works on my XP system. The "washed out" color scheme does take some getting used to, but the text and menus are crisp and clear.

My only suggestions would be to check your video drivers. After that, it would probably take official Logos Tech Support.

Okay, this just happened to me last night. I am running L4 on Win 7-64 in Parallels on two, almost identical iMacs. The one at the office started exhibiting behavior described in the original post. The one at home is fine. Transparent menus. Not all of them. I switched to 16 bit color and that seems to have fixed it.

Any other suggestions as to what might be causing this?
