Logos 4 Crashes - Layouts non functional - Logos 4 non functional
I am getting all kinds of crashes in Logos 4 now.
Whenever I move around favorites, create favorites folders it crashes
When I get into Layouts and attempt to delete an old layout the sub screen pops up for delete yet it does not delete but crashes Logos.
I cannot load any of my old layouts, basically its wiped out all my customizations and I cannot create any new ones, change them or delete them
If I try to use them, Logos immediately crashes.
Basically Logos 4 is nonfunctional at this point for me.
Very, very frustrating --
Any help from tech support would be appreciated.

The best ways to get in contact with the Customer Support Department is to either e-mail or call them. You can reach them by telephone at 1-800-875-6467 during their office hours, Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm Pacific Time Zone and by e-mail at customerservice@logos.com. By chance did either of you upgrade (automatically or through switching to the beta) to the latest Mac Beta [4.3 Beta 10 (4.30.0.1045)]
I noticed when I installed the latest beta and then opened up one of my more intensive layouts it brought the whole program down, specifically through my commentary list in the passage guide. Then after this Logos would not finish opening before crashing and closing again. I found some luck by restarting my computer so Logos would not try to load the layout again when reopening. Waiting for the next stable version before I do any heavy lifting in Logos. [8-)]

Wiki Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac includes: "Sign In tip: launch Logos 4, then quickly press and hold command key until Sign In appears – can click “Use blank layout”, then Sign in"
Wonder if intensive layout works with 4.3 Beta 11 ? If not, please enable diagnostic logging and create a new thread in Mac Beta forum.
WIki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac has log posting steps, which allows opportunity for passage guide crash to be replicated and fixed. If wait for next stable version to use layout and passage guide bug not fixed, may be calling Logos technical support to repeat crash (with log gathering), then wait some more for a stable service release patch.

Been through that process with Tech Support regarding sign in and use blank layout. I sent 3 sets of logs to tech support at this point. No resolution at this point.

Tech support identified the problem and it is being fixed in the next release of Logos in the next couple of weeks.
Without getting into the details the workaround is to complete multiple deletes on the offending layout due to how the back end database keeps track of Layout Updates under particular circumstances.
