I am still venturing around the new Logos 4 and I have come across a problem that I am not sure is a Logos 4 issue or a Vista issue.  I get no sound from the program (well that is not true...the hymns play alright).  I have enabled the sound in the settings but get none.  I used to hear the sound of the opening of the program on my old Logos 3 but that is not there anymore either.  I was trying to test the read aloud feature and I am unable to do so (that again might be a vista issue I am still researching that).  Any suggestions?

Sounds works for me in Vista64 just fine...perhaps after all the version updates your problem has been resolved.  If not, given what you've done already, the last thing I can think of is perhaps Vista's Volume Mixer is set to mute/attentuate that application (see below)...if you open the Volume Mixer from the taskbar, then give a bible window focus in Logos & press CTLR-R, you should see the program attempt to access your speakers like I show below...perhaps by fiddling with that you can get the application volume to work.
