Notes performance related to MS Office?

I recently installed MS Office (2010) for the first time on my machine. I did so just before the current beta cycle introduced the PBB functionality.

Now typing in notes is noticeably slower, and I find myself typing ahead of the display frequently.

So this makes me wonder whether something in MS Office is stealing time/focus from the WPF character display of Logos. (I realize, of course, that the issue may be the beta, or some other
update that was applied, or some other program I happen to be running at
the same time.)

I really have no idea, and wouldn't know how to check, but I thought I'd share my experience in case there's something here that might shed some light on this rather cryptic issue some have had, and now I'm having, with notes.

Very interesting.  I have always had this issue with notes, and I have always had MS Office on my computers.  This being said, I would say that the issue is still with Logos.  I say this because I do not have any other program that has this problem when I type (and I do have other programs that use WPF).

NOTE: When L4 first came out, I could type 20 to 30 words before I saw anything on the screen.  The delay is now down to four or five words.  While there has been great progress with this issue, four or five word delay is four of five words too many.

Let's say I want to type a note referring to a Bible verse.  I right click on the verse then I choose the note file.  Then before I begin typing I go up to the three circle visual filter and turn off the note file.  Then I can type as fast as I want until I am done.  Then I go back up to the filter and turn on my note file.  An extra step but it is so much less of a hassle.
