Will the be a revision soon that will allow you to setup a layout arrangement and save it so that when you enter a scripture the tabs for commentaries and selected bible versions will update.  when I setup an arrangement that I like it is stored according to that day and scripture but when you change the scripture you have to individually change each layout section

    Ray, welcome.

If I understand you correctly what you are looking for is called linking. Each large resource icon (the one in the upper left corner of a pane when a resource is selected) has a drop-down menu that lets you select what link set you want that resource to become part of. So you can link all your Bibles and commentaries by selecting the same link letter for all of them. When you change the reference in the reference window all the linked Bibles and commentaries will move to that reference.

Here's a screen shot of that the menu looks like for one resource:

Set your links then save the layout with whatever name you choose. It will then open the next time with the links intact.

There's more on linking on the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Linking_Resources

Just a supplementary note to Mark's suggestion:  When you link your resources as he suggests you will still need to update your passage in your bibles, but that can be a one-time, one-resource operation which is easily accomplished.  I don't know if you were thinking of something like having the layout change according to the lectionary (which would then depend on the date), but this is about as easy as it gets.
