My phone is an HTC Incredible. I have unlocked 'unknown resources'. I have downloaded the file multiple times. I do not see a way to open the file...no icon or any source to show me where the files is placed. Any suggestions?

    It should be in the pull down menu of your phone.  Since it appears it is not, you have a few options.  

    1. if you have a file manager installed (not sure if it is stock on the incredible or not) you can open that and look on your SD card in the downloads folder and the .apk file should be there that you can click on and install.

    2. Try appinstaller
