Navigation within a multi-volume work

I have a Samsung Galaxy tablet using Froyo.  In accessing Knox's Works by David Liang, which is 6 volumes, the table of contents shows only the volume and not the works within the volume.  Also, the headings are double printed, but slightly offset from each other, making it hard to read.
