Dual Versions of 3.0 and 4.0 loadded at the same time?

While I enjoy some of the new bells and whistles of 4.0 I would miss some of the functionality of 3.0 that I enjoy until Logos comes out with its “full working” version.

So before I layout my recession hit dollars......

Do you think it is possible to install both versions 3.0 & 4.0 on the same computer at the same time?

I know I have done this before in the past (including MS Office 2003 and 2007 at the the same time).

I did this my creating and pasting short cuts to the start menu associated with their respective start-up executable file.

Even in Logos (I have 3.0) yet somehow I have some “older” customized tool bars installed (I have not bothered to remove)and when clicked will bring up the 2.0 passage, exegetical, word study guides etc… dialog box up!!!

So I was just wondering and asking do ya think it is possible?

They will run no problem. Most of us did it throughout the Beta Testing process with no problem...

Bob, my understanding is that you can have both programs on the same computer. I've read where some are learning the ropes of Logos 4 while using Logos 3 for work.

My L4 Platinum download is at 14%, so anything I tell you is what I've gleaned from threads the past couple of days. [:)]

So, some people are choosing to use L3 with all its functions and run L4, too, to learn its system.

I've got both running right now.

I've noticed all my old links to Logos 3 books in Word and OneNote are being intercepted by Logos 4 and opened there (probably a registry thing)

Bill, I also upgraded to Platinum. I use Logos 4 all the time except when I need to look up my Czech Bibles I made by PBB Book Builder. Today I looked to the list of the resources in Platinum and I went to the web pages of Logos and found some of the most desired resources (Baker Exegetical Commentaries of the NT, Baker's Encyclopedia of Psychology and Counseling, AKOT (wonderful!) and many other) and downloaded them to my L3 Resources folder. It works perfect in my L3 also. It is what I really like on the Logos. Once you get the resource, it works in Logos 4, Logos 3 and even on my iPhone (some of them, the list will grow). Excellent. Thank you Logos.
