Greek textbook question

I'm taking elementary Greek at SBTS next semester. In addition to the grammar, a recommended text is:

Aland, Barbara, Kurt Aland, Johannes Karavidopoulos, Carlo
M. Martini, and Bruce M. Metzger,
eds. The
Greek New Testament (with dictionary), Revised 4th ed. Stuttgart: United
Bible Society, 1998. ISBN: 3438051133.

I'm wondering if this Logos resource - http://www.logos.com/product/7839/ubs-4-westcott-hort-with-swanson-morphological-analysis - is appropriate for this text? If not, is there another Logos resource with UBS4 that I could get?

Yes, the text is the same, you do not need the dictionary since you have Logos, but you will not have access to the apparatus unless you buy the SESB. Also make sure you will be allowed to use computers in class, we could not at RTS, in which case you will want a hard copy. You might anyway, I have both, although I rarely use the hard copy anymore since I finished my exegesis classes.

If you can use the electronic versions in class (which I'm guessing you cannot) then definitely buy SESB. Especially if you are going to take Hebrew at some point, it will be so much easier for you and a good investment. You can always purchase a reader bible later on for personal study if you don't want to look at the screen. I'm in seminary right now and I wish I could have done that. The paper versions have the advantage of being paper though which is good for some things. Also talk to a logos rep and see if there is academic pricing on that particular title. I don't know about that one, but often they can give you a deal on things since you are in seminary.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check on using an electronic version. This class is online, so there's no classroom, per se. Since the book is recommended, not required, I'm not sure how/why they'd restrict the format.

The suggestions on SESB are great. And I always check for the academic pricing.
