ID Layout

I have several layouts that I have created over time and don't want to delete. My problem is I open a layout and spend several hours working in it. I often open new resources or change things around. When I am done with my study I want to update the layout in order to save my changes. Here is the problem. I can't always remember the layout that I started with in order to update it. Is there a way to relate the "named" layouts to my current layout. In other words the layout that I'm looking at or working with is "named" what from my list of layouts?
Thanks for any insight.

This is an excellent suggestion. It has been mentioned several times. Until Logo fixes this there are a couple of workarounds. Tim Engwer created a Layout Manager which you can read about and download from here.

Or you can drag your layout you are going to use each time to the shortcut bar and then delete it when you are done.
