Navigation in Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible

I have this resource downloaded and was answering the question of a friend about Nehemiah 12:40.  When I navigated there through the verse picker it jumped to the reference in the ASV.  I was able to repeat it several times.  If I picked the book Nehemiah and just clicked "go," it correctly took me to Nehemiah in CCEWB.  Then I could flip pages until I reached the reference, but going to Nehemiah, chapter 12, verse 40 only took me to the ASV (and the ASV is even not my preferred version).

Thanks guys!

    Hi Michael

I can reproduce this - but only when the commentary is downloaded to my device.

    • I started with it not downloaded and couldn't reproduce the problem - the verse picker correctly took me to the commentary.
    • I then downloaded it and get the symptoms you describe
    • I then removed it and it started working correctly again.

Hopefully this will help someone in tracking down the problem.

I wonder if this related to my post about the ASV being the preferred or "default" Bible when I am offline.  It is the first downloaded Bible alphabetically, and seems to be the preferred version when I am offline.

This problem appears to be specific to offline/downloaded resources and passages that are not explicitly in the resource.

The following verse map selections navigate properly in offline CCEWB:

Selecting Nehemiah 12 then clicking the Go button.
    Selecting Nehemiah 12:27
    Selecting Nehemiah 12:43

    Thanks for reporting this.
