Error Message when opening ESV on iPad

Today when I tried to pull up my Bible reading plan I received and error message and it will not load the ESV. Happened multiple times today. I hoped that the last update would fix the ever more frequent crashes and bugs, but not so for me. It is getting to the point where I cannot use the app because it constantly crashes, gives error messages, etc.  Any thoughts or is anyone else having these issues?  For me, it seems that the app has had many more problems the last few weeks that in all of the other months combines.
