I have been working on my sermon all morning, and using Logos 4 to do. Admittedly, not thee first time, I used the beta versions to prepare too. But this software does the trick. Here are the 5 things that really do it for me:
1. Lightning fast searching.
2. More intuitive - I type whatever I want on the "go" line (what is it called anyway) and it reads my mind and gets it right 99.99% of the time.
3. The panels can float to another monitor.
4. Sympathetic highlighting.
5. I can drop notes ANYWHERE and they still seem nice and organized and synced.
Just went and opened v.3 and thought, wow, that looks dated - never noticed before. :-)
Down side? Not many. I can't wait for visual markup, and I actually like the reverse interlinears to work like individual resources (though I am sure it is coming).
