Okay, so I watched the video about doing collection and read some blabs about the process. With a good attitude (I think) I went on to try to create my first collection: Bibles.
Well, I gave up. I became sick of having to add criteria after criteria in order to narrow the hits. I have a large collection of resources. I guess I can go through the product comparison chart and tediously go one title at a time, but that's the problem: it's tedious and wasting my time! I am waiting for one of you to post a miracle solution ("be patient and keeping on jumping through the holes" type of answers, please don't bother). I am starting to wonder whether the all-powerful index is in fact way too inclusive to start with. If only L4 gave us more settings to choose from (something like "use only primary titles" type of ideas but with regard to search result hits).
I have work to do, not countless hours to dedicate to one piece of software. As much as a fan as I am of Logos, I don't think any other software release would get happy reviews if upgraders had to put up with so much (imagine a new Windows version where you have to wait so much, have so little upgrading help, and do so much background preparation for things to work normally).
I really do not mean to be a complainer. I mean, I am just TOTALLY frustrated with L4!!! I don't want philosophy, I want solutions.
Blessings,
Francis
