Under Mac System Preferences Spaces

When using spaces under Mac System Preferences I create a new screen for Logos that I can drag a floating window into. I want to be able to save this as a layout and keep the floating window in the MAC "spaces". I don't seem to be able to do this. Is this possible in some way that I am not doing?

Note: this changes in Lion.
In Spaces, you need to assign Logos to the space, not just drag it. Let me know if you need details about how to do that... I'm mobile at the moment...

The way Spaces work, you can't assign different application windows to different spaces. Even if you place floating windows in different spaces and save the layout, next time you open the layout they will all be in the same space.
As I understand it, this is not a Logos limitation so much as a limitation in OS X.

Steve, I am interested because I have found what Chris is saying to be true. Thanks to each of you.

Chris - I am confused by what you have said. When you say "you can't assign different application windows to different spaces" - do you mean "different windows of the same application" into different spaces?

Sorry, you're correct. Rather than distinct applications, I was referring to distinct windows of the same application. And while you can put windows into different spaces, you can't save the layout and expect them to open up in the assigned spaces. They will all go to the same space.
