How do I pull ever single passage on one topic?

For example, I want every single passage in the Bible that talks about the holiness of God and have Logos list out every single passage, from Genesis to Revelation, all on one page.

Is that possible?

    Not really.

Every Bible verse is not yet topically tagged - though I remember reading that such was a work in progress.

however, don't give up hope because this is the beauty of the Logos Library.  Start looking at some specific resources that might talk about the Holiness of God; for instance Sproul's book: http://www.logos.com/product/207/the-holiness-of-god

Also consider looking at the initial chapter(s) of any systematic theologies you have.  start compiling verse lists (or just one) as you go along and you'll soon have more verses than you can handle.  And no, it won't all print on one page - I'll guarantee it (unless you use a 0.0001 point font.)  [:p]

I would also suggest topic searches on the holiness of God.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

You could do a Bible search on "holiness of God" The search results could be exported to a document or a passage list.

Alternatively, you could check out the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge and pull all of those references into a passage list.

EDIT: Apologies, I was thinking of Nave's Topical Bible, Here's a link to its entry on the Holiness of God. You can get all of these refs into a passage list.

Since I've mention PLs twice see: http://wiki.logos.com/Passage_List

This is what I would do.

First, of course, make a passage list called something like "holiness of God" or do a search for something like holiness WITHIN 5 words God, export the search results to a passage list.

Next go to the "God, holiness of" sections of any topicals in your collection. highlight the section, go to your passage list and select add...from selected text. Find as many resources you can that talk about the holiness of God, highlight the text and add it to your passage list.

Once your done, sort the passage list. This will get rid of any duplicate references and put them in canonical order. Now go through the references 1 by 1 and get rid of any you do not thing belong.

Someone else might have an easier solution, but this is the best I can think of.

Thank you so very much for everything.

I was intrigued by the holiness of God from reading The Cross of Christ by John Stott.

What I wanted to make sure is that I didn't want to leave out tons of passages by simply doing a word search on "holy" or "holiness".  I don't mind reading through nearly 700 passages on the word holiness but I want to make sure to include everything including "separated" and "high" and "lifted up" in relation to His holiness.

(I will grab Sproul's book soon.  Also with me as far as Systematic Theologies go: Moody, Grudem, Bavinck and Berkhoff.)

    Thanks again.

The other thing I didn't want to miss is how does a Holy God relates, tolerates and dwells in the presence of our sin.  Or the better way to say it is how can our sin stand in the midst of a Holy God.

    Some other search ideas:

For the NT you could start with a Morph search for <LouwNida ~ Louw Nida 88.24-35> - It will find every word related to holiness or purity. You might want to take a look at Louw-Nida semantic domains to see if there are others that would be helpful to this search.

Unfortunately there isn't equivalent tagging for the OT, so I would recommend gathering together a list of lemmas that relate to holiness/separation etc and searching for those.
