upgraded to Lion last week and also have the latest beta. when i enter a passage on the home screen and hit "go" it'll start to load the standard layout, and then crash. tried rebooting several times with no luck.

Wondering if indexing complete ? Also curious about passage on home screen ? (e.g. Psalms 80 works OK in 4.3 Beta 13 on Snow Leopard)
Attached zip file has old crash reports (from Snow Leopard) and old nlog.config file (no longer used).

hm that's strange. maybe with the Lion update the logging is different? i heard there was some change in the Finder for Lion.
i was looking up colossians 3:15-17 which repeated gives me the crash.
any idea how to enable logging in Lion, or if the logs are stored elsewhere now?

think i got it this time. i had to do the 'hold command' when logging in to get it to enable logging because the terminal didn't work with the instructions on the wiki.

Zip file has a crash in Logos4.log; wonder about opening a Passage Guide, collapse all sections, then try Col 3:15-17 on Home Page again (suspect crash while applying layout snapshot settings to Passage Guide or Exegetical Guide).
Apologies: have not yet upgraded to OS X Lion (broadband limitations; unable to download 4 GB from Apple). Wondering about terminal output for command to read logging settings ? Please copy and paste command into terminal:
defaults read com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4 LoggingEnabled
Then copy and paste terminal output. Wondering if OS X Lion change to hide ~/Library folder has an effect on defaults command ?

Does the crash occur when searching on any NT or OT passage from the home page? Does it crash when you search on Col 3:15-17 in a Passage Guide or Exegetical Guide alone?

It crashes when I search other passages in the NT from the home screen.
I tried searching Colossians 3:15-17 in the passage guide and it doesn't crash. However it only brings up the Wuest commentary and none of my others (I have the Gold package).

Can you search on OT passages from home page? Can you run an Exegetical Guide on Col 3:15-17? Also, in your Passage Guide, have you changed the default Commentaries section from "All Commentaries"?
