After reading, and implementing, Morris Proctor's tip in yesterday's blog post it has got me wondering how others are utilising the Logos bookmark system?
I use two methods Paul.. sometimes I simply save the layout to save my place making the effect work like a bookmark. Other times I want to save some of my reading in my favorite folders.. so I load my favorites.. and then if I need to I can simply click on the bookmark to save my place.

Paul, Morris Proctor has an excellent blog post and accompanying video that describes the methodology he uses: http://blog.logos.com/?s=bookmarks&submit=Search
Thanks....
My purpose in this thread to see how others are using the bookmarks system for themselves and see if I could pick up some tips....
In L3 I used bookmarks, but I have gotten out of the habit of using them in L4. I tend to think they are something of a residual organ in L4 without much purpose since now a book will open to its location when I closed it. As to marking the passage I'm studying, usually I have notes to locate my place in that. In a way I'm quite happy to be freed from using bookmarks since I sometimes forgot to set a bookmark when closing a book and had to seek for my location though that wasn't too difficult with the search facility and "find" <ctrl-F> (If you don't remember what you were reading then you need to re-read it).
I use several of the bookmarks for places I visit but don't want on my shortcut bar or have to hunt for in a favorites folder. For example: Wiki, Prepubs, Community Pricing. It is a good idea though to leave # l open for use as an actual bookmark.
