Crash during sync after fresh install Win7

I installed Logos4 on a second brandnew machine which is running Windows 7. But when I start Logos4 it crashed after 30 seconds. So I unabled my internet-connection and started the program again. This time everything worked fine. So I think there is a problem with the synchronisation. Any idea how I can solve this?

We need to see some logs in order to diagnose the situation. First enable permanent logging, then enable your internet connection and upload logs after it crashes (but before you restart L4).

Noticed Logos4.log file has version 4.01.3.5180; Logos 4.0a SR-3 was released on Tue 12 Jan 2010 (about 1.5 years ago). Also, Logos4.log has lots of messages about database schema being newer than program.

AS KS4J pointed out you need to update to the new software. When you upload logs in the future you should try to upload all the most recent logs in the Logos Log Files folder. That usually includes Logos4.log, Logos4Indexer.log, and a crash file if you are experiencing a crash. Zip all three together and attach them to a post.

First upgrade to the latest version and then if you have trouble attach the full set of logs to a follow-up posting.

I'm updating Logos4. You're right, I was unaware of the fact that Logos4 didn't update itself directly after an fresh install. In the Logos Log Folder I found only the Logos4.log-file, nothing more. Maybe it has to do with the older version. Anyway, my machine is upgrading, synchronizing and indexing the program. No problems till now yet (>30 sec. [:)]). Keep smiling!
