How do you create simple footnote in PBB. Please give a demonstration of the syntax, or better a word document, with some examples.
Thanks.
Anyone ? [:(]
It's not a special syntax. I just use Word's footnote command (Word 2003: Insert->Reference->Footnote...) to insert footnotes, and the PBB compiler converts them automatically.
Example:
2671.testfoot.docx

Thanks Todd. The popup is working but not power lookup.

It works for me:
Make sure Power Lookup is set to "Follow".
Thanks that was the problem.
Thanks Todd
How do you get it to show up in the Basic Search?
Thanks Todd How do you get it to show up in the Basic Search?
I also could not get any Search Fields listed using the syntax mentioned here, even with a tagged form of Todd's Word footnote.
8080.Peacemakers.docx
You just have to wait for it to be indexed, which it should be shortly after it's compiled.
Thanks again Todd!
i was not very specific, i wanted to see the field show up under the Basic Search
It shows up under search fields in the book's info, so i expected it to show up in Basic Search under Search Fields

Thanks Dave, i pulled down your example and have been studying it.
PB does not recognise the Bible text, whereas footnote text (Word format) does appear in the Resource Info. I wonder if the syntax Melissa supplied is fully implemented?
Congrats on your 8000th post!
Just another Personal milestone[:)]
