Can you please explain further. What I noticed when I'm in airplane mode, the "ENTIRE LIBRARY" change immediately to "recent resources".One thing more, it only work with Bible search but not in the basic search. The "basic search" is not working in the offline mode.

First, you should update to the Current version, which is 1.7.4, released on June 6, 2011.
Second, by "make sure there is nothing in the search field" I mean that if you enter something into the search field, you may end up with a blank screen because you have no matches. In the screen shot below, notice that I have "zx" in the search field. This will produce "no results" or a blank screen, because I have no resources with "zx." If you are getting no results, make sure you haven't done something similar.

Currently, my ipad is having the latest update. I observed that your screenshot is showing the "library" being used which I don't have any issue with it. I'm particular refering to the "search icon" of my entire library in Airplane mode(not on wireless) which do not give any result at all.

Ah, that would explain it. Currently, all searches including Passage Guides and Bible Word Study are performed by the server.
As such, those features are not available when offline.
We are looking into eventually supporting searching when in Airplane Mode or without connectivity but I cannot give you an official timeline on when that might be.
Thanks,

Logos for iOS 1.6.3 Release Notes
So what does Dave Dunkin meant to say when he wrote that one of the new features of the released iOS 1.6.3. is offline search last March 03,2011? Kindly explain his idea

Hi
The only searches which are currently available offline are the Basic and Bible Search.
Passage Guide and Bible Word Study are not.
Both the Basic and Bible search are working fine for me in offline mode.
However, as you note above, it is no longer possible to search the Entire downloaded library - just "Recent Resources" and a range of individual books.
But you seem to be saying that you can't get anything working in the basic search when offline. Is that correct or is the issue to do with "Entire Library" as opposed to "Recent Resources"?
What basic search are you trying to do and against which resources?

I have found the offline search feature to be slow, unreliable, and frequently inaccurate (missing search results). I've only used it a few times when I had to, and I always double check with other Bible software on my iPad.

I've pasted two screen snapshots showing my ipad logos offline search experienced.
The first is my offline(airplane mode) basic search of the entire library about "sanctification" but it states " no results match
your search". The 2nd one is my offline(airplane mode) basic search of recent resources about "sanctification" and its yields results.
So my question is about the 1st offline encounter. Is this normal? What is your advise?
Thank you and God bless!

As Graham stated earlier, searching the entire library is only possible in the "recent resources" tab. I am not sure why this is the case, or if it is intended, but this is how it works currently. Sorry! [:S]
