I've just noticed that whenever I try to open the NASB95 (via a shortcut) it causes Logos to shut down, in the same way as trying to load a saved layout. All of my layouts include a NASB pane...
Wonder about opening NASB 95, scroll some, sync, then try shortcut again.
Would like to see diagnostic log file with NASB 95 crash: launch Logos 4.3 RC 1, quickly press and hold command key until sign in appears, release command key, then check use blank layout, click sign in, then click NASB 05 shortcut. If crash, please reply and attach Logos4.log file.

Is there a way to know whether logging is on or off with 4.3??? Every time I've submitted a log file with this version, it is the wrong one... LOL
Here's my log (hopefully)

Personally use an AppleScript application to display and optionally change diagnostic logging => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/34277/272324.aspx#272324
Here's my log (hopefully) 2867.Logging.zip
Appears to be same as previously posted (nothing new).
I ran the applescript prior to the crashes and got this window:
So it appears that logging does not work on my 4.3 RC-1 install. I did not install any of the 4.3 Beta's - just RC-1.
Location of Logging folder is "/Users/ottocarroll/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging" - correct?
Earlier today posted an updated AppleScript application => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/34277/272324.aspx#272324
Wonder if updated version has Enable and Disable buttons ?
Can verify logging setting by opening terminal then copy and paste this command:
defaults read com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4 LoggingEnabled
Output value of 1 means diagnostic logging is enabled.
Yes
Thanks for all your help, Keep Smiling. I downloaded and installed the updated Applescript, enabled logging, and confirmed it was enabled by entering that phrase in the terminal. The problem is a lot less frequent when logging is enabled, but it did crash once. I also ran the rebuild bible index command.

The zip file has a current Logos4.log file; appears quit was chosen in Logos 4 Mac (not have a crash). If a crash occurs, please compress Logging before opening Logos 4 Mac. May want to delete old console messages and Logos crash files in your Logging folder (have seen them several times).
Noticed Logos4.log has several MetadataServiceUtility warnings.
Thanks.
Here's a log compressed immediately after a crash from loading a saved layout...
7144.Logging.zip
Logos4.log file has a crash while processing UpdateVisibleRegion for DrawRect (at same time Logos 4 is background checking library for metadata updates).
Appears named layout was selected from Layouts menu then instantly crashed.
Noticed Logos 4.3 RC 1 with Beta update channel running on OS X Lion.
We got a good log this time--thank you for being persistent! This does confirm that the crash you're getting is the same one developers are currently working on and is related to Lion and loading a layout, especially one with a floating window. A fix will be included in RC 2.
Thanks Melissa!!!
