The more I use the notes file the less I like it - the two things that I miss in functionality:
1) the ability to have titles
2) the ability to expand and contract - the list of titles being the primary view
Think in terms of collecting pieces for generating Bible studies: My usual work arena is:
- one file of questions - titles indicate the span of the question and the category of question (closed facts, intepretation, application ...)
- one file of structural elements - titles indicate the space and the type (parallel, chiasm, bracket, repetition ...).
- one file of notes to add to the Bible study - anything from customs, forms, history, liturgy ...Title clues me in to content
- one file miscellaneous - mainly a questions and "to do"
Note: I have gotten copy and paste to work. My problem was the table was not in native MS Word format because I had copy & pasted an HTML table. And images go in nicely as well.
