Hi there seems to be a lot of excitement in the forums about the personal book builder I was wondering what exactly that does
Hi Tim, PBB allows you to import your sermons, class notes, old books (whose copyright has expired) and almost anything that you can put in word 2007/2010. It will allow you to link to other books in your library, or material on the web.
For information on how to do this see: http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books. For information on creating links in microsoft word see:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/create-format-or-delete-a-hyperlink-HA010165929.aspx#BM3
The PBB tool in the latest Beta release allows one to change a Word 2007 or 2011 docx file into a Logos resource that functions in many ways as any other Logos resource.
This opens to door to a host of possibilities from putting one's own works into Logos, denominational study committee reports, public domain works, etc.
Logos used to charge a 'subscription' fee for this tool, but will be giving it away (don't know yet if a base package would be required)?
