More Resources in Library for iPad vs. Android
Why are there more resources available for the iPad app than for the Android app? Why is this?
Example, the Expositor's Commentary is available for the iPad but is nowhere to be found on the Android?

I wonder if this has something to do with logging in on the apps, or something else along those lines....I just checked it out on an Android phone and the Expositor's Bible Commentary showed up.

what do you mean "logging in"? when i first started the app i had to login but the commentary does not appear. also, i do not even get the niv in my library on the app...

It would be great if Logos could get a deal worked with Zondervan so we can start to have some things like NIV. Even free apps like youversion have an online version of the NIV available.

I really don't understand why we can't view all our purchased resources. So much of what I already bought and use a lot is not there. I cannot understand why it matters whether I view the electronic resource on my laptop or on my tablet. It should not matter at all. This is really irritating.

I believe Stephen was wondering if during sign-in some critical information was not correctly downloaded to your phone.
Try selecting Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Logos and click on Clear Data. You will have to re-download any downloaded books you had previously, but you will be presented with a sign-in screen the next time you start the app.

Michael,
Perhaps you already know this, but I saw this on the beta page notes:
Q: Where is the NIV?
Logos is working with Zondervan to make the NIV available on mobile devices.
Blessings,
Chris

i wish a developer would chime in regarding the missing expositors commentary on my android tablet. i emailed support and they told me to ask in the forums but no one that works for logos apears to want to help me.

Matt,
You have had 2 people from Logos reply to your post, perhaps you have missed that.

As the Logos for Android app is still in Beta, we do not offer phone or email support for it, which is why Customer Service told you to ask here.
The next step for you will be to uninstall and re-install the app from the Android Market.
If that does not work for you and you'd like to help us track this down further, navigate to the Android Market and download an app (it's free!) called CatLog. This allows us to pull some log files from the device.
Once CatLog is installed, run Logos and reproduce that error. Close Logos and then open CatLog, press the Menu button on your device and then select Send. Email that log as an attachment to yourself.
Please then attach that file to this thread.

Oh, I didn't know some of you were developers.
Well I did what you said and here is the link to the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?zvcl4qyvbiez3pv
I hope you guys can figure it out because the main perk of buying the logos package was to be able to access the expositor's commentary on the go.

Did you already own the Expositor's Commentary before purchasing a base package? I ask because I do not see the Expositor's Bible Commentary on your account, which could be the problem in and of itself.
You do have licenses to the Bible Exposition Commentary, but that resource is not yet available on our mobile applications due to licensing restrictions.
Thanks,

You know what, I think I misspelled it from the start. What I am trying to find is the "Wiersbe’s Expository Outlines on the New Testament" and "Wiersbe’s Expository Outlines on the Old Testament" and when I viewed what was available for the iPad I thought "The Bible Expositor's Commentary" was the same thing. Now I feel like an idiot lol.
Oh well... I guess it would be handy on the "compare" screen to show what is available for the mobile apps: http://www.logos.com/basepackages
because that is what confused me from the beginning as I thought everything there would be on the mobile app.Anyway, thanks for the work on the app and I won't bother you anymore [Y]
