Bug: Selecting verse ranges for Passage Guide and Text Comparison
If I select a verse from a Bible version I am reading against which to run a Passage Guide or Text Comparison it all works fine.
If I then go back to the Bible version and select another verse and try to run either another PG or TC they maintain the earlier verses I used - they are not updated.
They don't produce anything, the screen just stays blank until I enter the verse manually and it then works.
Are other people seeing this or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Graham

Hi Graham, for the app to work as you are wanting it to, I have always accessed the TC tool, by first making sure that the verse I want is in the box at the top left of the screen, then at the top right of the screen I tap the "plus symbol" and then select Text Comparison. However, if I try to access the TC tool at the bottom of the screen I have to manually enter the reference, otherwise it will show only the last used reference. Are you accessing the text comparison tool at the top or bottom of your screen when you see that behavior?

Thanks Jerry.
Yes I am accessing the tool from the bottom of the screen when I see the behaviour I described.
If I use the + symbol (which I didn't know gave access to this tool - so thanks for that!) it works fine.
Sounds like a bug to me!
Edit: I have changed the subject of this thread to reflect this

This is actually intended behavior. Accessing the Passage Guide from the bottom menu is designed to not first depend on opening the Reading view. This way, it is not necessary to open a bible in order to run a Passage Guide search.
You can tell which version of the Passage Guide you are in by the presence of the "done" button in the upper left. This indicates that you accessed the Passage Guide from the Reading View directly.
