I've not been here in the forums for a while and I see that Rosie hasn't posted in a while. Does anyone know if she's ok or what's happening with her?
Thanks! Valerie
Rosie's taking a break from the forum. Last I heard she was going to re-balance her life some.
Hopefully she'll notice this post and stop by to say hi.
The forums are a little less "Rosie" without her. [:(]
Good to have you back though, Valerie
I indeed miss Rosie. Hope all is going great for her.
I realized something was missing, but I didn't put my finger on it. I hope she gets everything organized.
Rosie has always struck me as being particularly well organized. At any rate, I find her posts always helpful. Hopefully, she'll be back soon.
I've often wondered about the time and commitment it takes to post so frequently such as those with 2,000, 3,000+ posts. That's a significant investment of one's personal life! I have frequently questioned, how do you do it? I have also personally benefited from your dedication to this forum. Your knowledge and experience with Logos has assisted my own personal experience with the application. Thanks! And, btw some of you are quite humorous, well some, not all... [;)]
What I'm saying is that I think Rosie's set another mark -- balance! Perhaps our other "mega-posters" should consider the same, but not all at once. We need your input, experience and advice. So, to Rosie, take your time, re-balance, re-focus and we welcome your return!

George stood alone by himself and lifted his eyes to heaven and said, "Lord, I thank you that I am not like those others -- megaposters. [Ooops ! 3,000 is included ?] [:$] Well, I do manage to have a life of my own, but I've also wondered how some manage to post so much -- thanks for their efforts, however they manage.
Looking at recent changes to Logos Wiki pages, noticed one update by Rosie on 31 Jul 2011.
Personally slowing down a bit in Logos forum posting; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Staying_Focused page.
Thankful for MVP recommendations (Mark Barnes & Bohuslav Wojnar) => In the Shadow of the Temple (good reading in Logos 4, including cultural background for Acts 6 and 7, pondering what Stephen saw in Acts 7:56).
Keep Smiling [:)]
I've been amazed that Rosie didn't burn out completely long ago, burning the candle at both ends continually! Rosie, I'm so grATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE FORUMS. Well done, channelling your energy toward BALANCE. Hope we'll hear from you again occasionally when you're ready. God bless you and guide you through each new step through which he leadds you!
Love the post title... evokes memories of where's waldo... somewhere in EVERY picture... Rosie's been so helpful she's been the same for us.
I miss her, too.
Thank you all. I've been off the forums for a while. I did indeed burn out and needed to get back on track personally. I still need to be relatively inactive here for some time longer, but I've begun to lurk a bit once in a while again.
You have been missed - may you be blessed during your respite.
Rosie,
I sure missed your posting presence in the forum...it is nice to see a posting from you again[:D]
I discovered your latest post because you had disappeared with exactly 9,300 postings and then your number jumped by one...so I had to see what it was. Why doesn't the "Party" smiley work??[:O] <Insert party smiley here>
Welcome back!
Take all the time you need.

I agree, how's this for a Rosie party banner?"
GR8T 2 C U !
Welcome back Rosie.
You have been sorely missed. Please take it as easy as you need to.There are several new MVPs to help carry some of the load. And if I could, I'd tap dance for you. It just sounds a little goofy with one foot. [:P]

It's great to see a post from Rosie again.
Rosie we missed you and welcome back. [W] [:)]
Welcome back, Rosie! Take it easy! We value you for yourself, not just for your posts! I've been forced to stop by divine intervention in the form of appendicitis, and am taking the opportunity as I gradually get back into gear to reevaluate my priorities. Whatever happens, don't feel guilty about burning out. Maybe that was the only way God could break into your hyperactivity. I pray that he will bring much blessing out of it, to you and to others.
I am sure she is spending time reading the thousands of books in her Logos library! [:)]
Yes, welcome back Kotter Rosie [:)]
Well, stuff my leg into two teakettles Rosie. Super Tramp said he could do a "tap dance" for ya - I'd do the same, but every time I tap dance, I have this unique habit of falling into the sink!!!?!!!
Hi Nicky we value you too!!
I'm sorry to hear about the appendicitis (in your earlier post) and pray that you are recovering well and have been able to take some extra time out for reading, reflection and restoration as you recuperate.
All the best
Sue
Thanks, Sue. I think the appendicitis went to my brain! It's taking me a long time to get back into a routine of Bible Study and prayer. I prayed like billy-o the night after my op for as child with a burst appendix (no big deal in Albania - I reckon they get one a day, son they are experienced), who was in a lot of pain and frightened, and she later came to visit me and told everyone: She prayed for me all night! And for a man who had a potentially fatal crisis, and he was OK in the morning. After that I went into passive mode, and am just beginning to crawl out of it. Like I should have got my Bible out when I woke up, 45 minutes ago, and here I am playing with the internet! I shall now reform and get back to the Bible!
