I just noticed that while we wait for others to recognize the value of http://www.logos.com/product/7445/the-reading-and-preaching-of-the-scriptures-in-the-worship-of-the-christian-church we can read the soon to be released http://www.logos.com/product/7079/a-history-of-preaching which can still be purchased at pre-pub price. We can start reading in a week or two. Okay "preaching" isn't as comprehensive as "reading and preaching in worship" but at least it's a start.
I think I remember looking into the two-volume resource when you wrote this, contemplating to order it within the next week or not (anticipating the more expensive, seven volume work to take until - well - 2012 to arrive?) I postponed my decision then.
Today I look into my order list and see that the seven volumes will ship in two weeks time! So I think I will forego Dagan for Dr.Old....
