This is my first post, so thanks for bearing with me. I am interested in converting my previous PBB books with the extension name.lbxoeb to docx documents. Is it possible, and if so, what would be the best way to do this?
currrently impossible unless you have the original HTML used to comple the v3 files
Welcome to the forums David! There is a wealth of information here about using the new PBB, and scanning the posts will give you some background. The short answer to your question is that the PBB will only accept MS Word documents with the .docx file extension. So, your .lbxoeb books can't be converted. However, if you have the original source document that it was compiled from, the good news is that you can save it as a .docx in Word and compile them in L4. Have a look at the wiki for more direction: http://wiki.logos.com/compare.aspx?id=911a9d13-acb5-4d46-81f7-d4450fea1ab4&before=51&after=52
The brute force way to do this would be to open the old pbb in Libronix and copy and paste the info to Word and save as a docx. However, this approach would require more work retagging the book if you wanted any functionality beyond having the text in Logos 4.
true Kevin, should have thought of that.. LOL
Yuk, Yuk. [:P] Yeah, I wonder, How does Kevin know this? [co] [:'(]
At least it was quick.
