I have never been real happy about the amount of time it has taken to index with L4. But one thing I wish was more accurate was the amount of time it actually takes to index or re-index. What seems to happen is that it will indicate an inordinate amount of time, say, 84 hours, then jump to 63 hours a few minutes later to 47 hours. Its almost a wasted function if in real time it ends up being closer to 24 hours. Its not that I'm not grateful that it is taking less time, but it is still difficult to plan when there is so much uncertainty about how much actual time it will take.
