PB indicating "Bible" as a search field

I have a document with several Scripture quotes that I have indicated using {{bible-on}} . . . {{bible-off}} syntax surrounding each quote. After compiling the document, the only seach fields indicated on the PB resource info panel are "suface text" and "Large Text". Is there an additionally step I've missed here? I'd like to have that search field available if possible.

Also, when doing a basic search of this document alone, The search panel doesn't offer me any choice other than "all text" to search. Even though the Bible text isn't recognized, the Large Text should be offered as a search option, right? I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

thats only for books compiled as Bibles, as far as I am aware

I still don't understand why I don't get the option to search Large Text on my PB, though. The section headings are all tagged as such, and the resource info panel indicates that as a valid search field. Not a big deal, but I wasted a little time tagging them if they are of no use.

I had hoped to be able to search for specific Bible quotes within a "monograph" type book, though.

I couldn't find any in a collection of all my non-bible Logos resources e.g. a Field search bible:("God so loved"), although "God so loved" worked as you would expect. I only got the field search to work when I changed my PB to type:Bible (even though the field was not listed in Resource Info)!

This will work with a Field search e.g. largetext:("God is mighty"), where the font size was 18 or greater. For a list of fieldnames see this wiki article; words-of-christ: (tag with Word style field:RedLetter) and footnote: work for me.

It is a known bug that the All Text drop-down does not list fields.

Thanks!!! I didn't see that this was a known bug. That solves the mystery. As for the bible text field, if that is how it is supposed to work, I get it, and won't bother tagging Bible quotes in other documents that aren't Bibles. So, am I understanding that the entire Bible text in a Bible type document must be tagged with the Bible field syntax? I would almost have assumed that would happen as a result of being a Bible type.

Thanks again, I really want to get the most out of the PB function, so I am attempting to add every bell and whistle to this first document as a way of learning the ropes.

Yes. A Bible Search will not work unless all the bible text is tagged i.e. you get zero results! A Basic Search will include results from the introduction, headings, pericopes, footnotes, etc.

The easiest way is to use a Word style called field:Bible. But if you tag the "Red Letter" words of Christ, they must also be tagged as bible text!
