Upgrade question - will I have to spend a lot more if I do a 2-step upgrade?

I have a Logos 3 gold package. I can upgrade to a Logos 4 gold package for one price (that I can currently afford) or to a Logos 4 platinum package (at an attractive but currently not affordable price). So, I'm torn between doing an affordable upgrade now (Logos 3 gold to Logos 4 gold) and doing another one later when I can afford it (Logos 4 gold to Logos 4 platinum) - or just waiting a couple of months until I can afford to do a Logos 3 gold to Logos 4 platinum upgrade.

So here's my Question: if I upgrade to Logos 4 gold now, will I basically get credit for that cost if I later decide to do a Logos 4 gold to Logos 4 platinum upgrade? Or, am I better off waiting to upgrade for a couple of months until I can afford the gold-2-platinum upgrade?

Joe I think he's asking if he will end up paying the same overall amount through the two step upgrade as he would the straight upgrade to platinum. Yes, Logos will give him credit for sure, but will it be dollar for dollar? I've wondered this myself.

Yes, short answer. When i upgraded i got a break down from Logos and saw that the next upgrade option which i passed over was included in the upgrade i went for. For example Upgrade Scholar's Library:Silver(LE) to Scholar's Library:Gold (LE) $77.51.Upgrade Scholar's Library:Gold (LE) to Scholar's Library:Platinum (LE)$650.00.

But Platinum was priced $727.51 on the web page for example. So silver to gold $77.51 + Gold to platinum $650.00 = $727.51. This is an example of the upgrade calculation i got from Logos break down. It helps if you ask for a receipt[;)]
