All pop-up windows are blank

Hi, I have Logos for Mac. The software has been working fine, but recently all pop-ups have become blank. If I hover over a word in the Bible, a blank window appears (used to be Strong's information). If I execute a Bible search, the search window that appears is blank (although at the bottom of the window, it says in the footer how many occurrences it found). Love the software, it is great, just need to get it working again. Any help would be appreciated.

My Logos for Mac version is 1.2.2 (203).

My iMac OS version is 10.5.8.

My Safari version is 5.0.6.

Logos for Mac version 1.2.2 used older Safari rendering engine. Safari 5 update has faster javascript that has blank appearance for Safari 4 coding. One option is downgrading Safari to previous 4.0.5 release => http://itsalltech.com/2010/07/11/how-to-downgrade-safari-5-to-safari-4-on-mac-os-x/

Over many years, Apple has changed processor families (G4, G5, Intel) in iMac models. If have an Intel processor, other option is installing Logos 4 Mac, which has many more features than Logos for Mac v 1.2.2 (released on 17 Sep 2009). Wiki has => Logos 4 Mac and => Getting Started with Logos pages that include download links for free Logos 4 Mac software. Thankful for Logos licensing change in 2009: software now free, buy resource license once for my personal library, then use on desired devices. Recommend signing into Logos 4 Mac with same account and password used with Logos for Mac v1 so Logos 4 Mac can download your resource licenses, then copy resources from Logos for Mac v1 followed by downloading Logos 4 updated resources; may want to consider Logos 4 minimal crossgrade => http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade (Logos 4 improved Reverse Interlinear Bibles, needs resource purchase to use feature).

Not sure I understand how to fix the problem, though.

I think the only way to "fix" the problem would be for you to downgrade your OS and/or safari browser. May I recommend instead moving up to Logos 4? The engine is free, but there would be a "cross grade" cost to add some of the features of L4.

By the way, getting older has opportunities, including need for reading glasses since 40+ year old eyes have trouble focusing closer.[8-|]

Suspect not; found Macworld hint for restoring previous Safari version on Snow Leopard OR Leopard => http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20110722154439693 however, hint included not applicable to Safari 5.1 on OS X Lion.

I think that you will enjoy Logos 4. The brand new Personal Book Builder is especially cool. [H] One warning though... To provide all the great search features, L4 requires a lengthy indexing at first. L4 will re-index anytime new resources are added or updated, but generally that is pretty quick (a few minutes). The first indexing, however, can take hours. Many users prefer to do that overnight.
