Support for external editors?

Hello,

I found that "Copy Bible Verses" has 5 options, Microsoft Word, Pages, Textedit and a couple of others.

When I go to clippings and choose "Print/Export" it gives a bunch of options to export to a new file, but under "Paste into open document:" the only choice is "Microsoft Word."

I have 2 questions:

1. Is Microsoft Word the only option for pasting into an open document? If not, how do I enable a different editor?

2. If I purchase "Byword for the Mac" (http://bywordapp.com/) will it be added to the list of external editors in either the "Copy Bible Verses" or the "Print/Export" dialog?

I am fairly certain the answers to your questions are 1) Yes (Word is the only option) and 2) No, "Byword" (or any other program) will not be added to the list.

#1 I kinda expected to be a "yes," unfortunately.

But #2, I was hoping would be that as you add programs, the Logos program notices this and then adds to the list. I'm still holding out since you're a "Pretty sure" and not a "definitely."

Observation: many Logos 4 Mac users use Mellel for Hebrew composition (correct vowel point placement) => Feature request: Copy Bible Verses support for Mellel was posted 24 Aug 2010, almost a year ago. Also, Logos User Voice has => add Mellel support for "Copy Bible Verses" that is currently ranked 88th with 15 votes, but has no status from Logos (noted Logos has accepted 14 User Voice suggestions and completed 43).

If looking to purchase a Mac word processor, may want to consider Mellel => http://www.mellel.com/ and Scrivener => http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener.php

Edit: wonder about trying Copy Bibie Verse service => Copy Bible Verses keyboard shortcut in MS Office for Mac 2008?

Thanks! I'll look into that. Also, I didn't know about the voice pages. Some of the things are hard to find. I had trouble finding any roadmaps earlier, though I know I saw them in the past.

For Logos User Voice searching, can type word(s) for new suggestion to find existing suggestion(s) with those word(s).
