BUG: Word Look Up in the Psalms is Off By a Couple of Words
On my iPad, I have noticed that the Word Lookup in the Psalms appears to be shifted a couple of words in several places. Thus far, I have encountered the problem in Psalms 29, 32 and 49.
Below is a screen capture of the problem. You can see that the information displayed is for the word riddle but it is displayed only when I do a Word Look Up on of. The displacement varies anywhere from three to five words, depending on the chapter I am reading. I have not encountered the problem in any New Testament passages or other portions of the Hebrew Scriptures - only Psalms.

I have just tried this on Psalm 49:4 (as per your example) and the "word pick" is correct on my iPad.
What version of the iPad app are you using?
My guess - and that is all it is - is that this might be a corrupted copy of the ESV. You might want to try downloading it again.

I have the same results. Try the above as a first step: Make sure you have updated your version of the app, then re-download the ESV.

Reinstalling the ESV did the trick.
