You can manually advance a reading plan in two ways:
- On the iPad/iPhone navigate to the end of that reading passage and select "Mark As Read".
- On the Logos 4 desktop application click on File > Open > [Reading Plan]. Select the date that is giving you trouble and Right-Click it, then select Catch Up to Here.
Comprehensive information on Reading Plans can be found in our Videos Page here: http://www.logos.com/video/2289/bible-reading-plan
Written instructions and full details can be found here: http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans

i made the mistake of deleting my old reading plan, made a new one and of curse this one is not not syncing .
so i have the only reading plan which is the standard "read the bible in a year" reading plan which i DON'T want .
the email i received from logos is that a few people are having problems with this . I guess i am one of the chosen few ...
thanks for the help . if my reading plan ever shows up i will try what you suggested ..

You are not alone, Fritz. I am having the same issue.
Hope this is fixed soon.

Same here. Changes made in Logos4Mac do not reflect on iOs and when you make a change on iOS it sees a conflict and creates a new copy of the reading plan. Very frustrating because I have already deleted my plan twice with no success.

I'm also having the same issue. My reading plans were syncing for a while then new ones started showing up on my iPad with a parenthesis & a number such as "Read NKJ in 78 weeks (4)". I removed all but my current one on my iMac but my iPad still shows three reading plans and the current one will not sync.
Is there any way of removing the older reading plans from the iPad? I tried removing the app and reinstalling but that didn't work. I would be great if we can get a view from out online account what's being synced and allow us to edit/remove things that are old or have sync'd incorrectly somehow.

...as am I.
I have tried different things--I deleted the newest copy of the reading plan that was created when I updated my progress via iPhone, then just updated the original on my desktop. It still creates a new reading plan whenever I update via iPhone. Then I tried deleting the original copy of the reading plan and keeping one of the copies generated--same result.

I'm having the same problem trying to use a single reading plan on both PC and my iPod Touch. Sometimes they stay in sync, sometimes they get out of sync and once that happens I can't fix it. The PC always works fine, it's just the iPod that starts to create new (starting in Genesis 1) reading plans and nothing I do gets the actual, real, current reading plan back onto my iPod. Very frustrating, seems like it should be a simple (and critical) thing for them to fix.

We are currently in the midst of a general overhaul of our Sync Framework that should solve the issues we have been experiencing with reading plans and other data.
In addition to solving some bugs like this one, the overhaul will allow for a slew of new features and accessibility on our Mobile apps.
This will be a major change to the software though it will be largely invisible to the user. As such, I really cannot say when that change will be rolled out: any number of issues could delay release significantly.
Thanks,

Hello.
I was just wondering if this change is still in process. I've had this issue on and off and today as I start my new reading plan, I notice it's not showing up on mobile (biblia and apps).
Thanks,

Josh - This issue is being worked on, but you should not expect any relief until a new version is released. Logos is currently working on a new version (4.5) which will improve the sync features, including adding notes & highlighting to the mobile apps.
Any update? I set up a new reading plan on the computer and it is not updating the IOS software. I also desperately need the highlighting. It is to the point that if I have a choice on buying new material, I go to CBD, since I can read their products in another software that supports highlighting and notes!

Hi Richard - and welcome to the forums
Any update? I set up a new reading plan on the computer and it is not updating the IOS software. I also desperately need the highlighting. It is to the point that if I have a choice on buying new material, I go to CBD, since I can read their products in another software that supports highlighting and notes!
Support for notes and highlighting synchronised between your laptop / desktop and iOS environment requires two things:
- Logos 4.5 on the laptop / desktop
- An updated iOS app
Logos 4.5 is at the "Release Candidate" stage so we should expect to be a gold / stable release within a couple of weeks (although it is possible that it may take a little longer)
The updated iOS app is already available and in the store, just waiting for the release of 4.5
These, together, should provide the notes and highlighting which we are waiting for.
We expect support for proper synchronisation of Reading Plans in a service release to 4.5, but we don't have a timescale for this - hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!
