Best Jonathan Edwards Biography

I am looking for the best available Jonathan Edwards Biography. I want to see his heart and understand his motives. Any suggestions?

    Hi Halo,

    I have just recently read biographies by Prof. George Marsden and Iain H. Murray (here and here). Both were excellent reads, but of the two, Marsden is more recent and, in my opinion, more reliable. Both give consideration to Edward's major works (with regards to thought, influence and reception). Marsden's treatment is more detailed an extensive.

    If I had to pick one of the two, I would definitely go with Marsden.

    I found Marsden on Amazon and it was reviewed well. Thanks for the recommendation. I may end up going with it.

    HH, you may enjoy this brief bio with some interesting features such as overlapping lifespans of other famous people, and 'keys to understanding Edwards".   Also, a google search for "Johnathan Edwards bio +pdf" yields more hits than I had time to spend, but (aside from Princeton's interesting Johnathan Edwards site) found this link with many of Edwards' resources and a few downloadable bio's.
