cannot add to favorites when offline

When reading a book across several devices, it would be helpful to have a sync feature similar to kindle. I find it frustrating that I cannot even bookmark my place when I am offline. It would also be a handy feature to be able to access the resources that I have saved to specific layouts on my portable device. I am in Seminary and I have different layouts for different classes and it would be handy to access those resources as a favorite list. Also, when is highlighting and notes coming to the app
