Has anyone received this title yet?
it is the 9th isn't it! No, not yet...
Note the "~": Ships ~9/9/2011
Also, orders are processed in batches, not all at once, so not everyone will get it at the same time.
They often ship at night. So I am hopeful that it will come this evening.
Just received my e-mail - and starting the download.
just got mine at 7 minutes till the hour
Something 88.2MB is downloading here as well. [8-|]
Yowza! It's now $400!!!!
I love CP! Mine just downloaded. [:)]
I now have a complete OT/NT commentary set, also including The Wisdom of Solomon, The Wisdom of Jesus the Son of Sirach or Ecclesiasticus, and 1 Maccabees.
mine just arrived. 116.66 MB in the v3 edition. Looks like 88.2 MB in v4. I would have thought v4 would be bigger
Robert
Putting it right to use now and it's helpful. My Mac is still indexing, but it's up on my PC.
Shhhhh .... Robert .... L3 people get almost 50% MORE than L4 people, with their purchases!!!
Mine just downloaded and indexed...thought I would investigate it's worth...so I opened up the volume on Exodus since I have read Driver before...IMHO the $50 was well spent just on this volume...so I am very happy...I did notice though there arent a lot of active links...for example, when K&D are referenced, it would not go straight there...but when I opened up K&D, it opened up in the place I was just reading in Driver.
<quietly>lol</quietly> <whisper>It's our secret!</whisper>
Is ... when you checked Driver out, did you look at the maps? I love those older maps that have a lot of detail (Sinai area, specifically).
Whoever at Logos did this one, did a nice job.
did you look at the maps
No,but now you point it out...I will have to fire up L4 again...lol[:D]
This set looks excellent, and much to my surprise seesm to be tagged quite well the the Church Fathers and other sources.
Does anyone have any adice as to whether I should tag this collection as critical or exegetical, I am thinking that it is more of a critical set.

why not tag it as both?
Because if I started allowing multiple tagging where would it all end?
I like a commentary to be on a single parallel resource list, and as a purely personal preference I like the discipline of single tags.
It was a nice surprise to find it downloading on my laptop. The download scratched the itch to buy another set of commentaries--but this one was $50 instead of $1000! Naturally I am not suggesting the sets are equal but it was nice to get a new set at such a low price. The NIC is still not something I can justify at that price point.
