I posted in the Android section but it looked as if no one there so I have  posted here.

I plan to purchase a new phone so I can use L4 on it.

Which phone (brand) seems to be ahead with L4 software?

My choice is narrowed down to two: Iphone or Droid.

In the Droid line which one (name like X, incredible, bonic, etc.) would handle L4 best?

I don't care for all bells & whistles, just speed, storage...

thanks for advice

Because the Android version of L4 is still in beta, the most stable and reliable is iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.). I have been using L4 on my iPhone 4 since L4 was released and I love it. I have not used an Android, so I cannot tell you how far along the beta is. But if you are looking for stability now, then an iPhone is the way to go.

I'm biased toward the iPhone, so that would be my recommendation. As far as the Logos app, the Android version is still in beta, but development is coming along fairly quickly so I wouldn't let that be a deciding factor.

There are about a million variations of Android phones out there and I'm not familiar with them, so I can't help narrow them down.

I do look there every day or so!

I am very happy with Samsung Galaxy S  and Logos, but Vyrso is also available as a reader.  Both apps are stable (in beta) although not yet as full-featured as iPhone. The Droid interfaces very well with my PC for contacts, calendar, music, photos etc. and is a lighter phone than iPhone!

Reading rumors about 150,000 iPhone 5's being produced daily in anticipation of October launch.

It really depends on your personal tastes.  I have an Android phone and love it, but I realize that isn't the best for everyone.  I generally don't like apple products for personal taste reasons so I went with Android.  Android gives you more flexibility than an iphone, but if you aren't good with technology or don't tinker, adjust the look of your phone, etc, then that flexibility is worthless to you and probably will lead to a lesser experience than with an iphone.  If you just want it to work and not set anything up on your phone, then go iphone, if you want to mess around with it and install widgets, change the user experience, etc. go android.  Honestly both android or iphone have teh hardware capabilities to run logos just fine.  As for the app at the rate the devs are going I would guess that by Christmas? it will be close to at par with the iphone app.  That is just a guess though.

New technology is always around the corner, you have the iphone 5 out in a month or two, you have great android phones with a new operating system our in 2-4 that will be faster and better.  As for which android to buy, thats up to your preferences but at this point in the tech I would at least get a phone that has a dual core processor and you should be fine as the tech continue to develop.
