Newbie question: what do I need to install?

Hello.  Sorry for this basic question - I didn't see it in the FAQ, but perhaps I was looking in the wrong place.

I'm running Windows XP and I would like to buy this electronic copy of "The Pleasures of God" .  However I'm not sure what else I need in order to be able to read it.  (I have no other Logos software or books.)

I found this link for the Libronix Digital Library System  which looked like it might be the right tool...

But on the support page it seems to indicate that Libronix is a discontinued product that I shouldn't be using.

However the Logos 4 Upgrade Page doesn't seem to show a Libronix replacement, unless it's the "Engine-Only download".

So, I'm not sure what I need to download/install in order to then purchase and read that electronic book.

Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!

If you are just wanting to purchase and read the one resource, then yes
the core engine will allow you to do that. If you have a iPad or iPhone the iPda especially would be better suited to just reading if you have no other resources to link or search.

Ok, thank you Glenn.  If I purchase this book through Logos, will it be readable on multiple PCs, or does it become "tied" to a single platform/application and unreadable on other computers or devices?  (For instance, I'd like to be able to read this book both on my home PC and my laptop.)

Thankful Logos allows a Library user to access resources on a variety of devices: pay once, use wherever with free Logos software => http://www.logos.com/apps

Caveat: about 11 % of Logos resources (642) are restricted to Logos 4 on Mac and Windows due to licensing contract wording with some publishers.

Looking at => The Pleasures of God page noticed mobile application icon not present (currently only usable in Logos 4 on Mac and Windows).

Note: Logos has 5,446 resources currently available for Internet and mobile use along with Logos 4 => http://www.logos.com/products/search?Platform=Internet

    Keep Smiling [:)]
