I guess you're referring to 1 Peter 2:18?

Hello Ned,
Welcome to the forums. Dominic gave you the detail you were asking for, but I will add the wiki link for you to take a look at too.
http://wiki.logos.com/Basic_Search On that page to the right you will also see video links.
I suggest that you view Mark Barnes videos to really help get the most out of your Logos software. His video on searching is here: http://vimeo.com/16529361
open NJKV Click Magnifier type "Fear Not" you need quotes as its a phrase click Arrow or press enter
Or, simply open the NKJV, enter <ctrl-F>, type "fear not" (no quotes), use the down arrow to the end of hits.
True George, but, however the only drawback with that way is you cant save the results as a passage list.
While we may be waiting for Ned to make sure of the question, I'm half-way through McNamara's Targum and Testament. Recommended and part of a Logos pre-pub.
He mentions Genesis 15:1 where YHWH says to Abram 'Fear not'!
The apparent problem recognized in the Targum was that there was nothing on the horizon that Abram seemed to fearing. And so text was introduced to clarify YHWH's order. Bible readers always have questions!

The divine appearance, whether in person or by the agency of his messenger, was considered to be an awe-inspiring event. That is why it is frequently accompanied by seismic events. Elijah's "still small voice" is thus in contrast to the usual. Rudolf Otto in Das Heilige (trans: The Idea of the Holy) speaks of it as the "mysterium tremendum." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Otto's book is highly recommended. It was required reading in the cemetary.
Have you tried this example? I am not sure Ctrl-F works right. Try searching for
fear not
in NKJV.
It does not find John 12:15, if you are on Joel 2:21 and click down arrow it will not proceed and find it.
Also it will not find 1 Pet 2:18
fear,not
even though a Search tab will find it.
What's up?

What "cemetary" was that, George? [:)]
Soli Deo Gloria,
Randy
And should be a required reminder at the cemetery.

Jn 12.15 has a note intervening between "fear" and "not." 1 Pt 2.18 doesn't say "fear not."

What "cemetary" was that, George?
Calvin Theological Cemetary (for all the jokes I make about it, I have nothing against the school).
